Waka Flocka Flames Replaces Future During Recent Performance

Club Underground and CCA Made Last Minute Changes to Future & Wale Concert

Tampa, FL, March 22, 2012 - The city of Tampa, FL is none for its beautiful scenery and magnificent weather, but these aren’t the only things Tampa is known for. When it comes to Hip-Hop music Tampa has been on the rise for a few years now. In a recent concert, Hip-Hop star Future was slated to perform for an adoring crowd of fans on March 10, 2012. As fans came from far and near to Tampa’s infamous Club Underground, they got a surprise treat during the show. Due to some unfortunate circumstances such as a delayed flight and some last minute cancelations, Future was unable to take the stage and Waka Flocka came in and stole the show.

Waka was more than willing to take over for Future; as a matter of fact he gave such an energy infused stage performance that he will most likely come back to Club Underground again soon. This wasn’t Waka’s first appearance at Tampa’s livest Hip-Hop spot, he’s performed several times at Club Underground and each time Waka has left the audience beggin for more. The initial show was supposed to be Future and Wale but it turned into a Wale and Waka hit combo. The show got highly favorable reviews from fans and Club Underground offered their deepest apologizes for the last minute changes. Wale and Waka Flocka performed many of their fan favorites including their smash hit “No Hands” which made the club go crazy.

“One thing I can always say about Waka Flocka is he always comes through for us when we need him. He always displays professional showmanship and never leaves his crowd hanging.” stated Durby Brandon of Capital Connections Agency. Wale also did a phenomenal job as he performed hits such as; “Ambition”, “Lotus Flower Bomb’ and “100 Hunnit.” The event was the Official After- Party for Tampa’s 94.1 Wild Splash. Ladies got in free and there was drink specials all night. Club Underground is located at 802-806 e Whiting Street (On the Corner of Jefferson) Downtown Tampa, FL. SAFE International Launches Columbia Women’s Self Defense Parties – Columbia, MD Self Defense

SAFE International is expanding its seminar options to include women’s self defense parties in Columbia, MD.

Columbia, MD, March 22, 2012 - (Straight Line PR) - Columbia Self Defense, SAFE International Launches Columbia Women’s Self Defense Parties.

SAFE International ™ is a leading provider of mobile self defense/personal protection training in North America. SAFE International has taught more than 150,000 clients in the private, corporate and high school environments since 1994. SAFE International is expanding its seminar options to include women’s self defense parties in Columbia, MD.

SAFE International quickly realized that women had completely different concerns, fears, and needs than males. Chris Roberts, CEO of SAFE International listened to their concerns and tailored something that was not only educational, but also met their personal fears. Men have no idea what women go through on an everyday basis from the stares and comments to the physical gestures and advances.

One of the reasons that SAFE International enjoys teaching women’s self defense Columbia, is how receptive women are to the skills that the SAFE International instructors provide. SAFE International teaches self defense concepts, rather than techniques. This allows women to learn in a much shorter time. SAFE International always covers Awareness and Avoidance strategies which are based on one's daily routines.  We examine what an attacker looks for, what an attacker wants and doesn't want in confrontation. One of the biggest topics we explore is how most people are too polite, even when their intuition is telling them the complete opposite. We cover the most common distraction techniques an attacker will use to gain an advantage. We then move on to verbal strategies in the event that avoidance is no longer possible. Rather than just teaching to yell at a potential attacker, we cover a few verbal strategies based on the aggressor and the scenario.  The third step is addressing the physical aspect of Columbia women’s self defense. We begin with the advantages of adopting a passive stance rather than an aggressive stance. We only teach gross motor strikes due to the adrenal rush one gets when they are in a highly stressful state such as an attack scenario.  We teach a philosophy of "Attack the Attacker" which reverses one from being the Prey, to that of being the Predator. Another philosophy is to attack the head if all avoidance and verbal strategies have failed. This is only 30 minutes into the physical training and you can see how the self defense concepts are very effective. The self defense drills increase with intensity as the participants gain more confidence. It is important to build rapport with your students and the results will be seen as the drills progress. The following YouTube video shows how much can be learned in only 30 minutes of women’s self defense instruction.

Forget Tupperware Parties!
Invite 6 to 8 of your friends for a few hours of fun, education and potentially life- saving instruction. Plan a meal, bbq, snacks, maybe some dessert! Be prepared for a unique Columbia Women’s Self Defense experience! What has made SAFE International so popular is their unique method of teaching with humour and sharing of anecdotes. Get to experience their simulated attacks in scenario specific situations such as at the front door, the kitchen, the car, etc.

SAFE International has taught more than 150,000 clients including mothers, fathers, daughters, police officers, seniors, and people with disabilities. College Impact investing challenge welcomed by AAA

Highlighting the popularity of alternative investments is this year’s International Impact Investing Challenge at Northwestern University and the University of California, which has been welcomed by AAA.

Boston, MA, March 23, 2012 - Highlighting the popularity of alternative investments and impact investing is this year’s International Impact Investing Challenge at Northwestern University and the University of California, which has been welcomed by Alternative Asset Analysis (AAA).

The challenge, run by the universities’ business schools, sponsors some of their brightest and best financial minds to make ethical and profitable impact investing decisions, which will help onlookers to realise the benefits of this approach, according to AAA.

One of the schools involved is the Kellogg School of Management, whose associate director, Jamie Jones, said, "Now in its second year, the International Impact Investing Challenge encourages students from graduate schools around the world to identify strategies that create solutions for global social issues – as well as deliver financial returns.”

AAA’s analysis partner, Anthony Johnson added, “This sums up impact investing very well because making an ethical choice, that will make a difference to people in the developing world, does not have to come at financial price. Positives social impact and healthy returns are by no means mutually exclusive and we’re glad that initiatives like this are helping to spread the word.”

Some of the ideas that the teams came up with last year included dealing with food shortages in India and developing clean power for larger, established economies, like the US. More and more people are realising that their cash can help facilitate environmental or social change, while making them more profit than it would sitting in a savings account, explained AAA.

AAA is an alternative investment advocacy group that also supports impact investment in developing economies around the world. It supports environmentally responsible investment projects such as the plantation schemes run by firms like Greenwood Management in Brazil. “These schemes help to increase plantation timber, which in turn, helps to reduce the reliance on natural forests,” added Johnson.
